Change Up the Liquid
There’s nothing wrong with just using water for your protein smoothies but they don’t add any flavor at all. To change up the taste of your protein powder, try mixing up the liquid you use. You can use tea, coffee dairy milk, plant milk, fruit or vegetable juices, and even coconut water.
Just make sure that the liquid you use goes well with the existing flavor your protein powder has. Also, be aware that some liquids can add more calories to your protein shake because of their sugar and/or fat content.
