By now you’ve probably heard about waist training, whether you’ve seen celebrities sporting their workout bands on social media or your friends have started wearing them, and perhaps you’re still wondering what all the fuss is about.
TRAINER VS TRIMMER
The big controversy in how effective waistbelts can often come from a failure to distinguish the difference between“trainers” and “trimmers”
A waist trainer trains your body to form the shape of the product you’re wearing. They are marketed to help you lose fat, flatten the belly, and strengthen your abs, but this isn’t how fat loss works. Waist trainers use a metal or wireframed corset under everyday clothing. This method creates the temporary illusion of a slimmer waist. It is not recommended to wear these while working out.
The waist trimmer helps you sweat more by shedding some water weight around the abdominal area & giving you a leaner look for a short period. Waist trimmer belts are made up of the neoprene rubber which is a synthetic material and as a result, it does not breathe. Since it does not breathe, the heat is trapped in between the belt and your waist which makes your fat melt in the form of sweat.
Enhance your workout
Waist trimmers are designed to be worn when exercising. A waist trimmer is wrapped around your torso and mid-section of your body stimulates thermal activity, literally increasing your body's natural heat. Your body works hard to keep the temperature down, making you perspire more in the areas where you're trying to slim down—so you're getting more from your workout without the extra effort.
Wearing a workout band can complement a number of exercises, including but not limited to running, walking, aerobics, circuit training and strength training.
Not Just for Women
The way a female body responds to workout is the same way a male body responds to it. Men and women will lose belly fat quickly if they use waist slimmer when exercising. The case of belly fat is usually more predominant in guys than ladies because ladies have their buttocks and hips filled with adipose tissue, while the men have their tummy filled with the fat deposits.
When a man lifts weights or carries out cardio exercises, while he wears the waist trimmer, he tends to sweat more, and lose water weight immediately. That's what smart bodybuilders do. Forget steroids, and exercise with a waist trainer for men.
Remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated when wearing your waist trimmer while working out. Although you are detoxing your body through excess sweating, you’re also at risk of an electrolyte imbalance if you do not rehydrate.
